My life hasn’t been anything too crazy, but I am happy with how things have turned out so far.

1. My name is Grace, and besides it being the most basic name, my parents had a reason for naming me that. My parents found out early on during pregnancy that I may have down syndrome. My parents prayed and researched until the results came back… I was going to be completely fine. When my older sister suggested the name Grace, they felt like it was fitting after all the prayers that were prayed over me.

2. I have six siblings. I have four sisters and two brothers. One brother and one sister are biological to me. The other four were adopted from Ukraine. I am closest with my oldest sister. I am also close to one of my adopted sisters who I have written a couple blogs about, and she was featured a lot in my book. I am fairly close with my siblings besides one of my other adopted sisters. We haven’t talked in years.
