50 people is a lot to ask of others. I am from the South as well, but I always grew up going to potluck styled parties. You shouldn't be expected to feed everyone your dish. Everyone brings something so that there is plenty of options to choose from. Also, her asking for specific things is interesting. Beggers can't be choosers. 😂
