As I have mentioned countless times, fall is my favorite season. Along with the fall season, I also love spooky season. That’s right… I love horror, haunted houses, dressing up, carving pumpkins, etc.

When I tell people this, they are almost always shocked. My innocent and anxious nature gives off the impression that I wouldn’t like scary things. Some people find it shocking simply because I am a Christian.

It’s becoming more and more of a hot topic in the Christian community, and while I completely understand the other side, I also don’t think my side is necessarily always wrong.

My husband and I dressed up as Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder from a recent Halloween party.

Discernment and innocence can be found in this holiday.

I do believe that there are evil things that happen on Halloween. I believe there are witchcraft and demonic rituals. However, you won’t find me anywhere near those.

You might find me dressed up as my favorite princess and carving a pumpkin at a Halloween party. I might be curled up on the sofa…
