One of my New Years goals was to try writing some poetry. Up until yesterday, I didn’t think it was going to happen. I became inspired to write about my grandmother’s death. Losing her impacted my life greatly, and I still have so many raw emotions a year later. (Read the blog post I wrote about her just days after her funeral here.)
