Age-gap relationships can definitely be complicated at times, but I know a lot of people that have made them work.

My husband is around 5 1/2 years older. I met him when he was 25, and I was 19. I had already warned my parents that I was specifically looking for someone older (I was over dating guys my age). It's not a significant age difference, but I was still a teenager when we met lol.
