On September 11th, 2022, John Pappas was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. John and his dog, Cookie, died immediately. His wife miraculously survived the accident.
John Pappas left behind his wife, his daughter, and his son.
Steph Pappas, his daughter, is a well-known YouTuber with 1.4 million subscribers. She is known for food reviews, cooking, mukbangs, make up tutorials, and countless videos with her dad.
Her video sharing the news was heartbreaking.

The other night, I went on YouTube, and in my suggested videos, Steph was crying in a thumbnail titled, “Rest in Peace Dad.” My heart dropped.
I was shocked. He had always seemed healthy and upbeat, but my first thought was that they might had kept his health information out of the public.
