Do You Really Need A Membership To Be A Writer On Here?

Iam a huge lover of Medium. My list of cons is very short when it comes to this platform. If you kind of like writing, this is the place to start trying it out. I seriously recommend this platform to people all of the time.
The one question I always get without fail is, “Do you have to pay?”
I always just left it at no, and explained they could write as much as they wanted without spending a dime. It’s true, but I am about to explain why it is also not.
For most of my time on Medium, I wasn’t even paying the $5 myself.
So, why did I change my mind?
Honestly, my following went up, and I saw how almost impossible it was to not have one.
It’s just $5.
Look, I don’t know why I waited as long as I did to get the membership. $5 every month is hardly anything.
When I first starting writing on Medium, I hardly read. If I did, it was work from bigger bloggers. Their posts were popular and just came up in my suggested.
