I had to be put in my place to see how wrong my perspective had been for the majority of our new marriage.
Listen, I’ll be honest… I don’t know squat. I am making a claim based off of just one year of marriage (+ANY marriage book I could get my hands on), but I am still convinced it is a full proof plan to a lasting and peaceful marriage. Whether you are married or not, you can start “cooking” with this key ingredient TODAY. It’s is never too late nor early to start.
I know there’s that meme going around that is something like, “A 22 year old Christian girl married for two months: ‘Marriage is hard. Some days, I just want to give up. A lot of the time I HATE my husband.’” To avoid sounding like that meme, I want to make it clear that I love my husband in a way that’s indescribable. My husband is a great man, and I am beyond blessed to be his wife. This post is more of a reflection on me than on him.
