Does Anyone Use Instagram Anymore?

Social media isn’t as fun as it once was.

Who knows? Maybe, I am just old now. (;

I believe Instagram is dying.

I could be so wrong, because I have done zero research on this topic. This is just my personal opinion.

I have been on the app for ten years, and there has been a serious shift in content and engagement through the years.

Instagram used to be fun.

I was twelve years old when I got on Instagram. That was back in 2012, just two years after Instagram was created.

I was quite young to be on social media, but at the time, Instagram was full of younger kids.

We believed all the “old” people were on FaceBook.

With so many young people on the app, we posted silly selfies, our overly dramatic thoughts with an “artsy” photo, and cringe memes.

There weren’t many standards or rules to follow. We had fun, and there was a lot of interaction. It was easy to get likes and comments.
