“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways,”

declares the Lord.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

When I see verses about asking and recieving, I remind myself that God will give to us in the ways HE wants to. If we ask for something and it is not in God's will for us, He will respond in a different way than what we may have asked for originally. God can see so much further ahead than we can. We just have to constant trust that He knows what is best for us. <3
