This story did remind me of this one time with my mom though. I was still pretty young, and we had just eaten at our favorite Chinese place. They have really good complimentary mints. We always try to grab more than one, but someone is usually standing there. One time, no one was watching the mints. In my mom's excitement, she pushed me away grabbing a handful. I didn't even get to grab one. She did give me one of hers, because she was the one to shove me out of the way. 😅
