Half of my "begging" was sarcasm. I said that I wouldn't stop writing just because of my follower count in this post. I have been blogging for three and a half years. It took me almost three years before I started having readers that weren't just family and friends. I was close to a 100 when I wrote this blog. I didn't think it would blow up. I just wanted to stay on Medium's Partner Program, because I can't hold a job with my husband's crazy work schedule. I became very blessed, and some of my other articles began to do better. I ended up meeting really great people because of this post. I am also glad that I helped other people gain followers too. (I have other blogs on writing, gaining followers, and getting the most out of Medium throughout my page.)

Enough of my rambling, I just wanted to explain my perspective on asking people to follow. Thanks for reading and sharing yours!
