Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to write this comment for me and congratulating me! (:

I wrote a blog recently called, “I Am TERRIFIED Of Vomit : I wish I was joking,” about a month ago. It’s a quick summary of when my anxiety began, and how it has transformed through the years. I also wrote a book called, “Party Pooper: Growing up with Anxiety.” It is a memoir of my entire life from the age of four through nineteen. It’s very in depth, but I kept it as lighthearted as possible. Paperback and eBook are available on Amazon!

In short, my anxiety started at the age of four due to a nightmare dealing with throw up. It caused serious paranoia that prevented me from enjoying life to its fullest. I have since made serious recovery on my own, but I still struggle with that phobia a little bit. My anxiety is mostly just a daily and exhausting battle of the mind. It’s more general now.

I am sorry you know what it’s like to go through. I don’t wish this kind of battle on anyone. It’s exhausting, and there’s so many misconceptions out there. Not everyone is understanding. I do recommend writing about it… Not only for the people you may help but for yourself. It is good to write it all out. It’s freeing in a way.

As for me, I am a big time Christian. I pray a lot. I find comfort in reading the Bible and listening to sermons / worship music. I write about it all of the time. I am also a big talker and love to laugh. Laughing at myself and talking through my feelings makes me feel like I am not going insane. I still want to enjoy life even with my constant struggle.

I hope this answers your questions! Let me know if you have more! (:
