I agree with all the reasons you gave on why there is a lack of engagment amongst employees, but I also can't help but believe some of it is do to laziness. A lot of kids don't seem to have as many responsibilities, and standards at school are plummeting downwards. I believe these kids are growing up expecting to be spoonfed easy money. This isn't the case for everyone, but I still believe that it is the case for some.
