As a very new novelist, I have to read books.

There are many reasons that I don’t read books anymore.

From time spent on Medium to a serious case of brain fog, I just don’t seem to find the time or will power to pick up a book anymore.

I used to read a book a week. I loved it. I flew through books, and it kept me inspired and entertained. It was also good time away from any screens.

I finished Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers this past week. I started it around September 20th. It was probably my fifth time reading it. It’s my favorite book. But it took me almost two months to finish. That just isn’t like me.

I’d say the biggest reason for my lack of reading is the time I spend on Medium.

I write at least one article six days a week, but lately, I have been trying to write two a day.
