I graduated in 2018. Almost everyone had an iPhone when I was in school. I would say majority of us used them during class to text and be on social media. Each teacher had different rules. I had one teacher make us put our phones in a little pouch when we walked in. I see all sides, but I understand why teachers would want to take them away.
