I have 2k followers, and I am definitely not getting thousands of views on my stories. However, Medium is a reading platform. What you give is what you get. I read 30 articles a day to keep up with my loyal readers and find new writers to read from. This is what gets me my hundreds of views a day. Writing is important, but I believe reading is what really brings the numbers in. Just a thought! (:
