I have done temporary long distance with my now husband a few times (usually around 1-2 months at a time). We did it while dating, engaged, and even a little bit during marriage.

In the end if you're with the right person, it is so worth it. It takes time to learn, but the quicker you learn... The smoother it all becomes.
