I have grandparents that live in Florida, and they are hoarders as well. I have no idea what their reasoning is, but they hate throwing out anything. Their house is filthy, and my dad will visit them and help clean up while he is there. It's sad that people feel the need to live like that, but I guess there is always some kind of reasoning behind it.
