I have never written for a publication in the entire year I have been seriously writing on Medium. I like doing my own thing, and I feel like I am doing just fine.

However, the talk about pay is concerning. I hope that the new CEO understands that many of us need the extra money. It’s going to kill the platform if anything drastic happens. So, I have high hopes that everything will be okay.
