I just published a post where I mentioned my thoughts on this. I agree that many of the articles can be helpful, but I also see many that come across as a subtle brag. They don’t explain how to do it. They just say how much they made. This can cause really high expectations and discouragement for writers that are struggling to achieve making real money.

At the end of the day, I don’t see why Medium needs to monitor every blog written on money making. I read most of the ones that come up in my feed. I am not a new writer, but I love the tips. Medium won’t decide between a brag and advice… All would be cut off. I don’t see the purpose in that.
