My mom used to tell me, "Everything happens for a reason, but we may never know that reason until we are in Heaven one day." That gave me more peace, because I liked knowing that God was in control even if I can't always see it.

We all need empathy, and we all need the reminder that we can trust God in times of our struggle. Maybe, we just need to find better wording haha.
