I LOVED this post. My family went through some harsh trials. My parents had three biological children (including me), and adopted four children from Ukraine. Adoption came with beauty and trials. My parents parenting changed after adopting, but even at the young age of nine, I knew they were human. I knew they were trying their best. What happened after adoption I don't hold against them. Now, I am grown and married. I am super close with my parents, and can't imagine what I'd do without that relationship with them. Forgiving them was the best choice I ever made.
