The Truth About Waiting till Marriage

I got married exactly a year and one month after meeting my husband. We started officially dating a little over one month after meeting each other. A little less than eight months later, we were engaged. Our engagement wasn’t even a full five months.
I should also mention that I was twenty when we got married. I wasn’t even legally allowed to drink alcohol.
Why did you guys move so quickly? Shouldn’t you have gotten to know each other first? Did you get married so you would be “allowed” to have sex? Couples don’t get married fast these days, why were you two so eager to?
Throughout my three years of being a blogger, I have written about my thoughts on waiting till marriage.
