I read Jessey's article, and then, I happened to stumble upon yours. I only read part one. I personally found it quite tame. But it's hard to read tones over Medium. What looked nice and calm to me could have been read accusatory and harsh by Jessey (and others). Part of putting yourself out there is getting all kinds of responses. Being vulnerable is hard, and if something is really touchy, it shouldn't be put online. I hope Jessey accepts your apology and knows we are all rooting for her and her daughter. Like you said, there isn't an instruction manual. Everyone is doing what they feel is best. 🤍
