At the end of the day, I know a lot of people just want to meet their soulmate in person, but if that doesn’t happen, online dating really is the way to go.

In honor of my husband and I celebrating two years since we met a few days ago, I decided to tell all of my online friends our story. I will also be sharing tips about the dating world, ideas for dates, and your dating profile.

Our Story

My husband and I met on December 7, 2019. He had been off and on dating apps for a few years, and I had been off and on dating apps for a little less than a year.

I was the one to come across his dating profile first. He caught my attention, because he said in his bio, “If your head is on straight, message me.” That was my kind of guy. I always knew what I wanted, and I needed someone just as confident.

Not to sound arrogant or anything, but most girls just have to view a guy’s profile to get a message from them. I viewed my now husband’s twice, but for some reason, I grew really impatient. Thankfully, he had his Instagram in his bio, and oddly enough, I decided to follow him. Usually, I would wait until the guy and I had talked on the dating for app a little bit before giving my social media to anyone.

It took three days for him to finally message me, “Hey Grace, how are you? (:” He claimed he had to wait “to play it cool.”…
