I understand your feelings towards all of this. I agree that makeup shouldn't be encouraged. As far as nail polish goes, most men are terrible about even noticing it. Girls are drawn to color and pretty things. I think it is more about girls enjoying it than trying to appeal to men. Nail polish is innocent in my opinion (besides all of the chemicals).
