Interesting perspective! I believe in the human world his life was cut short, but in the eternal sense, his life got to begin a whole lot sooner. He didn't have to go through as many trials and pain as most of us do in our longer life spans. If he's in paradise today, I think that he would gladly say that he lived more than enough on Earth and is more than happy to be home.
