Tales of a New Marriage
January 24, 2021
Grace Bianco here. I have been married for sixteen days.
We started the morning off by waking up at ten. During the night, any movement my husband made would wake me up. He didn’t feel well, and so, I was on high alert in case he needed anything.
Most Sundays, we go to his parents’ house to eat lunch with his family. Since he wasn’t feeling well, he stayed home, and I went by myself. I have gone over there without him a few times already, and so, it’s never a big deal if he can’t go with me. I am very blessed to be close with my in-laws.
After a few hours of eating, talking, and playing games with everyone, I left to go back to my sick husband. He was already feeling better when I got back.
I worked on finishing the thank you cards. I ALMOST finished them! Just waiting on a couple of addresses that got lost from the invite list.
We ate more wedding food leftovers for dinner.
We ended the night by watching Spies in Disguise. My older brother had recommended it to me a few times, and we decided to finally watch it. I would give it a 6.5/10. It wasn’t bad, and there were some funny parts. It just wasn’t my favorite.
I ate half a bag of microwaved popcorn, some white chocolate and peppermint chunk covered pretzels, and a TON of Chex mix. Something about snacking and movies just feels the best. I was stuffed once the movie was over though.
By the time it was time to go to bed, my husband was feeling so much better. He said a prayer for us, and we fell asleep. A simple day for sure…
That was my day… How was yours??
