Grace Bianco here. I have been married for twenty days.

We started the morning off by getting ready to go to Walmart and Harbor Freight. We needed to get a few things for the house and cookies. We also really needed a drill to be able to put more things together.

When we got home, I put some new lamps we had just bought on our nightstand tables. I loved them and was happy to finally have lamps.

I talk out loud a lot. It’s pretty normal for my husband to double check that I’m just talking to myself and not to him. So, when I put the lamps in the room, I was talking to myself and the lamps.

Later on, my husband went to look at them, and asked if I liked them. I told him yeah and that they looked good and what not. And he said, “Yeah I heard you complimenting them earlier.” This was said in the most matter of fact and normal way ever. I felt like that quote needed mentioning.

My husband put together our headboard, and he needed my help to lift it. We needed to lift it over the bed. It was extremely awkward, and for some reason, I was using mostly my shoulder to hold it.

It started slipping, and I panicked, “Wait Wait!! It’s slipping off my shoulder.” My husband calmly responded, “Why is it on your shoulder in the first place?” This about killed me, because I thought it was hilarious. We had to quickly put it down.

Eventually, we got it behind the bed, but realized we didn’t have the proper bolts to attach it to the bed frame. We almost always need something.

The rest of the day I spent reading and writing. I needed to write my Monday’s blog for New Kind of Living.

Even while I was making dinner, I was reading in between the timer going off. Writing will become my career even if it kills me.

I just made more chicken and reheated leftovers from the night before.

We ended the night with me frantically throwing clothes into a suitcase, because we found out that we needed to leave at 10am the next day for Georgia. We are going to a wedding, and didn’t realize we were traveling all the way to the bottom of Georgia.

We started watching Snow White and the Huntsman, but I started falling asleep in the middle of it. So, we called it a night.

So, that was my day… how was yours??
