Writing can be very therapeutic. It gets our scrambled thoughts out on paper. Our mind can feel so chaotic during hard times, and being able to organize through some of that can bring some relief.

Writing it out can be helpful right away, but it also can be very helpful to look back on. It shows us how far we have come, and all that we now have to be thankful for.

When we are struggling, it can put a damper on wanting to do much of anything. Writing can feel exhausting, but it’s those times where it will matter the most!

For me, writing is my therapy.

When I published my memoir back in 2020, I had to relive my entire life to be able to fully tell my story. It was so healing.

I have been blogging through the good, the bad, and the ugly since 2018 (on Medium since 2021).

I think a lot of writers write more on their past and where they are now instead of their current struggles. However, I am an open book. So, I’ll happily share all of my stories as I live through them.

I seem to have no filter when it comes to my Medium page, but shockingly enough, there are some details that I do leave out.
