The day I met my husband, I knew immediately that things were going to be different with us. I had gone on enough first dates and been in a long enough relationship to know that our first date meant something.

We laughed, and we also had deep conservations. As the night went on, it was as if we had known each other for a lot longer.

I was right about that first date too. We have been inseparable ever since. Even when we were forced to do long distance because of my husband’s job, our love for each other did not waver, and we made that work as best we could too.

God made it clear that He had a plan for us right at the very start. I knew things would be different with us, but there was still a little nagging voice in the back of my head whispering, “He could change too.

I was in a relationship for a month short of four years before I met my husband.

All of this is thoroughly talked about in my book.
