Medium Took Away My Sparkle
Why are we going backwards these days?

Taking away something so small feels like a step backwards.
A lot of us writers have had our moments of griping about something regarding Medium. I have written my own articles on various things that I dislike about Medium, and I have read and agreed with many other articles on the same or different issues.
I am glad to not be the CEO of Medium. Hearing writers complain would be so hard and annoying. I mean we are writers… So, we tend to have a lot to say. I am glad that I don’t have to deal with us.
However, there are certain changes that come about where I just can’t help but wonder why.
Just recently, Medium made another small change. One so insignificant that I can’t help but question the true purpose behind it.
Medium took away our tiny privilege of personalizing our pages. Our “sparkle” was taken away.
We no longer have colorful pages.
Why can’t my page be pink? How is taking away my ability to personalize helping…
