***This was prewritten. My husband and I got the weekend together. I am home in SC for Thanksgiving now. My husband will come later in the week.
My husband has been on swing shift (switching between day shift and night shift) since July. His shifts change every few days, but he gets a lot more days off each month because of it.
Overall, it has been going just fine. It isn’t the greatest thing in the world, because each week, it will be different days/nights from the previous week. His schedule is all over the place.
There are many reasons that night shift is annoying and difficult. This past night shift stretch has been one of the worst for me.
All I do is write.
I have only gotten out of the house a handful of times for groceries and once for coffee.
All day, I am in my office writing.
