My Lack Of Routine Is Driving Me Insane

There will come a day when our lives will be so predictable and structured, and maybe (just maybe), I will look back at my life now and miss it a little bit.

Welcome to another rant post. If you’re new here, I promise this isn’t a weekly thing, but every once in a while, I feel the need to express my life situation in a more complaining type of way. As always, I will do my best to end on a positive note.

I honestly don’t hate my life or come even close to that. There are times though where I take a step back to look at where I am in life, and think, “What the heck is going on?”

Quick summary of my current life : I have been married for one whole year. I am currently just a housewife with a dream of becoming a writer. I am not just any housewife though… I am a traveling one. (This is where my life gets a tiny bit more complicated.)

We are originally from SC, and we own a house here. My husband currently lives full-time in TN, and I am kind of part-time between SC and TN.

My husband is a Radiation Protection Technician. Every fall and spring, he is assigned to go to (usually) two different Nuclear Plants. When it’s winter and summer, he used to not have to…
