My parents are my favorite people in the entire world. I love them so much. They made a lot of mistakes in my childhood after my family chose to adopt. It was really hard for many years. I too became a peacemaker. I would yell at my siblings for them. I refused to mess up or add to their plates. I am now a perfectionist. I struggle with always feeling like nothing I do is ever enough. However, I know my parents have to deal with their own pain from the past. It saddens me to think of what they went through too.
