Valentine’s Day is a great day. Spouse or no spouse, there is always someone to love. (Read blog linked below all about how Valentine’s Day can be good for both couples and singles.) As much as I will preach on the fact that you don’t need a spouse to celebrate love, I am not trying to take away from those that do have a spouse.

Valentine’s Day is an excuse to love a little harder. When you have a spouse, who you love more than anyone else in the world, it’s a great day to love them. I love loving my husband, and I am blessed to celebrate that love.

This Valentine’s Day we had planned on being apart. My husband is currently finishing up swing shift for the month of February in a different state, and we planned on me just staying back home. We decided we could celebrate another week. I had fully accepted that, and planned on making the most of my day anyway.

Well, that’s not how my Valentine’s Day went…

The Day Before…
