I am all about being content in every season. Whether it’s seasons like summer/winter or waiting/blessed seasons, it’s important to accept and find contentment in it all. Life is fleeting, and we need to hold onto what we can.

I love summer. I love swimming. I love my ghostly pale skin finely getting a little color. My birthday and vacations are just the cherry on top.

But the second I feel the slightest of a cool breeze in the morning, I start twitching for fall.

Fall is my absolute favorite. On September 1st, I am telling everyone, “Happy Fall.” I don’t care what the calendar claims as the first day of fall.

It has taken every kind of restraint to not start decorating, and even though it is already September 6th, I have decided to give summer one last hoorah.

My husband and I will be joining most of his family for a beach trip all of next week!
