RC and I are friends on here. We read majority of each other's articles. I can't speak for him, but he does make it clear that he is super against AI. This isn't a direct quote, but I remember him saying that using it in any form just promotes it to take over even more. That may be why he was so against your experiment, but again, he can definitely speak for himself lol.

Anyway, I am sorry that you guys are butting heads. I hate drama, and I definitely would not want to be in your shoes. I hope you guys are able to resolve this and move on. I don't believe experimenting for a brief period of time is a terrible thing to do. We all have to learn things sometimes.
