I have written about goals before on here. I was raised to be a goal setter that didn’t look towards the unachievable. It’s too easy to set unattainable goals, and then, just give up.
New Year’s Resolutions are full of high expectations for ourselves that quickly turn into “maybe next year.”
I am here to try to help you stop that annoying cycle. You deserve to achieve what you want, make healthy habits, and strive for a better you.
The Golden Piece of Advice
Make small goals to achieve bigger goals.
We will take the most classic New Year’s resolution ever and break it down… Losing ___ pounds in ___ months.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to become healthier and losing weight. However, it’s not about the goal itself, but the way people go about it. Instead of focusing on the numbers and time frame, focus on what has to be done to get there. It is also important to focus on how to maintain that goal after achieving it.
