Ihave been on social media for almost a decade. To best understand my views on social media and writing, I want to give my backstory on my writing journey.

For the past three years, I have been writing and publishing. In that time, I wrote my book, “Party Pooper: Growing Up with Anxiety” (available here), and I have written close to 300 blogs. I am now a happy Medium writer with 1.4k followers, but I didn’t start out on here.

When I first started blogging, I just blogged on a free blogging site known as blogspot.com. I had no huge complaints, but after a year and a half of writing on and off on blogspot, I decided to design my own wix website. I actually disliked my experience on wix more than on blogspot, but I can get into that another time. I started messing around with Medium after I got married in January of 2021, and I became more serious about it in July of 2021.

Similarly with trying multiple writing platforms and approaches, I have tried out all kinds of things on social media.

I am the author of “Party Pooper: Growing up with Anxiety.” I love oversharing my life. I talk about my faith, marriage, mental health, & everything in between.
