Grace Bianco here. I have been married for thirty-three days.

We started the morning off by me getting up on my third alarm.

My husband sleepily asked, “Ugh, why are you getting up already? That was your first alarm??”

“No, that was actually my third. It’s already 6:35.”

On my way to work, my car started making a weird noise. I have an old 2004 Corolla, but she’s held up well over the past few years. I hardly ever have any car problems.

The car continued to make a weird noise. When I stopped at a red light, I started literally bouncing. I called my husband… no answer. I called my dad, and on the second ring, he answered. I explained the issue.

I was able to get off at the next exit. I met him at a gas station. He checked my car, and told me it was better for me to go home. My husband checked my car to see what he thought. He cleared a code or something (who the heck knows honestly), and my car was fine again.

By this point, it was just too late to get to work. I was bummed. My days at work are numbered before my husband and I have to leave for the next few months due to his work.

My husband checked my car once more before I left for the store. I needed to get almond milk for me and whole milk for my husband. I also was going to stop by dollar general and get some Valentine’s Day decorations.

Dollar General was wiped out, but I put together what I could. Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday. So, I wanted to at least put what I could together for it.

I cleaned the house some. I read some. I wrote some.

I decided to paint my nails. I am super impatient about nail polish paint drying, and two of my nails turned out in bad shape. Another couple of nails weren’t so perfect either. I will have to redo them.

I also felt rushed, because my husband and I were going over to my sister’s house. I had to order the pizza online while my nails were turning into a disaster.

We left much later than I had hoped, but we managed to get there only a couple of minutes late.

We watched “Let Him Go”. My parents recommended it, and we learned to not take their recommendations. It was slow and depressing. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. It had potential.

We talked with my sister and her husband for a bit, but I was worried about staying too long. My sister seems to only get sicker by the day with her pregnancy. She needed to go to bed. We left a little after nine.

We ended the night with a chapter from Genesis.

That was my day… How was yours??

See you tomorrow!! Until then, follow me on Instagram @ gracekbianco for more!!
