Tales of a New Marriage
February 22, 2021
Grace Bianco here. I have been married for forty-three days.
Life got absolutely hectic, and I missed three whole days of writing on here. For some odd reason, I am like incredibly guilty about this, and my average viewing is probably three views. To my three fans, I am sorry.
Telling you about today should give a better perspective as to why I wasn’t able to write.
We started the morning with us finishing packing our entire lives up. We will be away from home for the next three-ish months for my husband’s job. (He’s a radiation protection technician and works seasonally. He has to travel around to whatever plant he was assigned to.)
I quit my job and said goodbye to my family on Friday. I said goodbye to my husband’s sister, brother-in-law, and our niece and nephews. Then, we said goodbye to his family on Sunday. I will be able to visit in about a month. (I plan on visiting family here and there during these next few months away.)
Once we had packed up our cars, my husband went to pay a bill, and I went to the dump to throw some perishable things away.
I ended up helping drive my mother-in-law around, because her car wasn’t working.
I met back up with my husband to follow him from South Carolina all the way to our first stop in Alabama.
We stopped for gas and McDonald’s a little over halfway in.
We arrived at the hotel where we will be for the next few days for my husband’s training. (My husband has training in a different location than the nuclear plant.)
We ended the night by watching The Office and reading from “Dear Romantic” and Genesis.
That was my day… How was yours??
See you tomorrow!! Until then, follow me on instagram @ gracekbianco for more!!
