Gratitude is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted.

There is always something to be thankful for.

How amazing is that? No matter who we are, what we have done, where we are in life, etc. we can always find so many things to add to our gratitude lists.

I have talked about gratitude and things I am thankful for a couple of times in the past couple of months. But I wasn’t going to not take the opportunity to write about it on Thanksgiving.

Any day is a great day to be thankful. Today is just the best day for it.

I am thankful for the big and obvious things:

Jesus, my husband, my family, in-laws, old and new friends, the country I live in, my cat, and EVERY single one of you

There are smaller things in life that I am so grateful for too:

Having a ton of time to write, coffee, my new and beautiful environment in TN, a more settled life, a cozy apartment, a washing machine and dryer, and so many amazing/crazy memories from this past year to look back on.

I could spend all day on this list.

This year, one of the things I am most thankful for is being able to feel thankfulness.

There are so many that struggle with contentment and gratitude. For some (like myself), it may just be a little moment here and there. For others, it is a lot harder to find things to be thankful for.

This could be because of their life situation, or they may just struggle with always craving more. Either way, thankfulness is there for anyone that wants to see the good in life.
