Today, is Saturday. My husband is working. It is a perfect day for writing.

Instead of writing the day away, I am struggling with a migraine.

Time feels like it is both flying by and barely moving.

It’s currently 2 o’clock. I have barely done anything with my day, but I told myself I had to write today. So, here I am.

A migraine is much different from headache.

Medical News Today describes it as, “A migraine is an extremely painful primary headache disorder. Migraines usually produce symptoms that are more intense and debilitating than headaches.”

When I have a migraine, I tend to feel more anxious, fatigued, and unproductive. I have blurred vision and muscle tension in my neck and shoulders.

When I have a migraine, I struggle to do anything. Walking around makes my head throb. Looking at a screen or trying to read makes it worse.
