The One Thing That Makes Me Anxious During Christmas

I am blessed to not have much to worry about.

A lot of people tend to feel varying emotions around the holidays. People are worried about family conflict, whether their gifts are well-received, etc.

For the most part, I am lucky to not have too many varying feelings. Both of my families aren’t very controversial. I ask people what they want for Christmas, and I get them that. I am blessed to not have much to worry about.

However, there is one thing that gives me a little anxiety/makes me cringe every single year.

I despise having all eyes on me while unwrapping a gift.

My entire body is cringing just thinking about it. 😂

Both mine and my husband's family take turns opening gifts. We go around in a circle where we open one gift at a time.

There is wayyyyy too much pressure on me and my reactions. I am someone that always asks for little things, and so, I
