I read an article from Linda Ng and one from Pamela Oglesby about what they/women look for in men. (Both articles will be linked below.) Pamela focused on physique/health, and Linda focused more on personality.

These articles inspired me to tell one of my worst dating experiences ever. Plus, the important lesson that it taught me.

I had to learn the hard way that meeting just a few standards wasn’t enough.

I was off and on dating apps for a year before I met my now husband.

I got on dating apps pretty soon after my four year breakup. I grieved that relationship so much while I was still in it. By the time I left, I didn’t need long to see what was out there.

I joined out of curiosity. I wasn’t planning on taking it seriously. I really just wanted to know what dating apps were all about.
