Tales of a New Marriage
January 31, 2021
Grace Bianco here. I have been married for twenty-three days.
We started the morning off by getting up at 9am. I wanted to get on the road ASAP.
I really wanted to go to a place called Buc-ees on the way home. It’s like a QT gas station but BETTER.
After about an hour and a half of driving, we made it to Buc-ees. We walked around for a bit. We each got a cinnamon roll, beaver nuggets (basically sweet puffs), and large drinks. The Biancos only eat the healthiest food.
I was very happy with everything.
My husband drove the whole way. There’s MANY things I’m willing to do, but driving long distance just isn’t my thing. I’ll be nice and take over the wheel on occassion though haha.
We made it home. I took a nap. Then, got up and got ready. We had to go over to my husband’s parents’ house for his sister’s gender reveal and dinner.
His sister had adopted two boys, and biologically had one girl and one boy. They are due for another boy in June! Their one girl just keeps getting outnumbered. But their little baby will be so loved. I’m definitely excited! He’s due on my birthday, which is even more exciting!
We ate dinner, and played pool with two of my husband’s sisters. My husband roasted me nonstop, but if we are being honest here, he wasn’t playing so great either.
We ended the night by going to bed super early, but the both of us tossed and turned until late at night. At around 12, we started talking to each other.
My first day back at work is tomorrow at 8am, and here we were struggling all night to sleep. I’ll let you know how that goes in tomorrow’s post.
That was my day… how was yours??
