There was a time that I genuinely considered Substack. Then, I had an honest heart to heart with myself haha. My audience is almost entirely Medium writers. My husband and mom are the only ones who have a subscription just to read me. A subscription to just me is a lot to ask and expect from others. I am not sure that I would pay for one writer when I can read hundreds on here. So, there's no reason for me to expect that either. It was humbling, but it's just how it goes haha.
