Having a puppy is so fun, but it can also be tiring and a lot of work.

The only reason I even attempted to have my laptop out was because Jovi was about to fall asleep. Of course, she still had to give it a quick taste test before falling asleep.

My life with Jovi Bell has been far more exhausting than I would have ever been able to predict.

She is 100% Corgi. I will have to write a post on all that I know about Corgis now, but the key thing to know now is… They are considered to be a high energy breed.

We got Jovi when she was just 6 weeks old, and now, she is a little over 11 weeks. As the weeks go on, I find myself longing for the adult dog phase. I will miss how tiny she is now though.

Caring for a high energy puppy is not always easy, but I have found things that make me feel saner.

My List of Tips/Tricks/Things That Make Puppy Life a Little Easier:

  • Exercising with Jovi: Not only do walks/hikes tire her out, but the exercise is so good for me. The fresh air and moving around gives me more energy to keep up with Jovi during the day.
